The Lethbridge & District Humane Society is an animal rescue in the community that coordinates over 100 active volunteers, spays/neuters incoming cats and dogs, is a resource to answer questions about animal care, and carefully screens potential adopters to ensure animals go to the best possible home. Last Chance Cat Ranch
A completely volunteer-based Lethbridge animal rescue, the Last Chance Cat Ranch has successfully rescued over 4,000 cats and kittens since its founding. The largest cat rescue south of Calgary, LCCR is a not-for-profit, no-kill rescue with approximately 30 active volunteers. A registered charity and society, LCCR’s mission is to help abandoned, surrendered, and stray cats find their “fur-ever homes”. LETHBRIDGE PAW SOCIETY
Based in Lethbridge, the PAW Society’s goal is to raise public awareness and provide education about responsible pet ownership. It also supports the community in rescuing and rehabilitating homeless cats, and provides necessary health care for cats brought into the PAW Society’s rescue program. Windy City Canine Rescue
Windy City Canine Rescue is small batch of dedicated volunteers who have been helping small dogs in Lethbridge (who have previously had a home), find their forever homes since 2010. Their compassionate staff are on a mission to ensure Lethbridge small dogs get a second chance in life.
